Welcome to the online galley for New Orleans artist Nicole Ockmond. I am inspired by the vibrant New Orleans live music scene & the talented group of musicians that perform in clubs around town. From Funk to Jazz & everything in between it's where it's at. I started the collections New Orleans Musicians & Louisiana Musicians and a portion of the proceeds from print sales of these collections either benefit the musician directly, the New Orleans Musician's Clinic (NOMC) or the Acadiana Cultural Health Access (ACHA). Just a lil' lagniappe, as we like to say, to help keep our culture alive & well literally. These collections will continue to grow as I add new portraits. Get out & listen to some live local music because live music is where it's at.
