Mark Lamaire has been playing bass with various groups in New Orleans for years. He is also a DJ on the Tuesday Morning set on WWOZ. When I was looking for a rhythm section to finish up the last tracks on my last CD I thought of Mark. He can currently be heard playing bass with The Essentials & Blind Texas Marlin. He also heads up One World Family with his girl Eva Solo. It's a non profit that works to provide access to education and basic healthcare for Burmese refugees in Southeast Asia. Ya boy is also a chef and you can taste his mostly vegetarian culinary delights at Lahpet pop-ups around town. Fun fact, at least to me who loves her some chicken and seafood. Mark is a vegetarian and was none too happy about the burgers on the chalkboard behind him. Oooops! I didn't even take note of it until he pointed it out. I was just thinking Whoo Hooo Happy Hour!
