This is my original acrylic on canvas portrait of New Orleans musician, George Porter Jr. George agreed to this portrait and graciously met me at the River Shack Tavern on River Road for a few quick reference photos. I snapped a few photos and had every intention of just reproducing a combination of the images for his portrait. Was inspired to add the text to the wall behind him because it's the TRUTH y'all.
